Incredible. I feel like I'm in a losing battle against an insurmountable power, but there's no other option but to win. Makes me think of some kind of a retro futuristic prophecy that takes place in the past. The final level before the ultimate boss battle.

This made me think of a maze I'm trying to find my way out of in a desolate world.

Oh how could I forget? I like the hopeless but hopeful atmosphere.
